InnerTrek Legacy Program

Accelerated Pathway to Colorado Licensure

InnerTrek’s “Legacy Path” is specifically designed for psychedelic facilitators who have already completed robust training requirements and/or have extensive real-world psychedelic facilitation experience reflecting a high level of competency and professionalism.

The Legacy Path distills training to essential components specific to conducting informed practice in Colorado’s state-regulated model. The abbreviated program positions participants to become state-licensed practitioners in Colorado in an accelerated manner, under Colorado’s “Legacy License” provisions.

Legacy Pathways to Licensure

We are happy to offer an accelerated pathway toward “legacy” licensure in Colorado.

If you have completed a comprehensive psychedelic facilitation program listed below, you are likely eligible for InnerTrek’s accelerated path for licensure in Colorado. In most cases, the legacy path will include a one-day seminar near Boulder, CO and a four-day “practicum” at InnerTrek’s Center for Psilocybin Services in Portland, OR.

You may qualify if you have completed any of the following comprehensive psychedelic facilitation programs:

InnerTrek Training Program
SoundMind Institute
CIIS CPTR
Naropa University
Integrative Psychiatry Institute
Fluence Training
Synaptic Institute
Alma Training
MAPS/Lykos

If you have not attended one of these schools and believe you have commensurate experience, feel free to inquire and we will review.

Full Day in Colorado

Attending the practicum component in-person is required.

Practicum in Oregon

The InnerTrek Service Center is located in Portland, Oregon. The Kex Hotel one block from the center. Traveling students can use the code InnerTrek2024 to get a 15% discount.

Curriculum

The Legacy Program curriculum is delivered by InnerTrek’s Lead Educators, profiled here. It covers topics specifically related to practicing in Colorado, as specified in Colorado’s Natural Medicine rules and regulations.

The program consolidates requirements that cannot be bypassed regardless of prior experience and training, according to Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies. As such, the program provides a general overview of Colorado’s regulatory environment and ethical codes while fashioning a “Colorado” lens through which to explore salient facilitator skills and concerns like touch, models of consent, and scope of practice.

Topics are delivered in conjunction with hands-on practicum training, providing practitioners with a right-sized window into state-regulated professional practice and an efficient pathway to full licensure in Colorado.

Tuition

Tuition for InnerTrek’s Legacy Path Program is $2900 and includes the full-day seminar (including food), the 4-day practicum at InnerTrek’s Service Center, and online components.

InnerTrek will coordinate records to ensure that graduates of our Legacy Program are able to obtain licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), under Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act.
